Thessalonika Arzu-Embry is definitely not your regular 17 year old. Wise, energetic, with an IQ higher than Einstein’s, Miss Arzu continues to push boundaries, but that’s just where the story begins.

The genius has always had a remarkable educational journey. She was home-schooled from the age of 4 and soon after, began impacting lives-young and old alike.

Since I was 6 years old, I was an inspirational speaker at an organization called Tabitha House Community Service, a transitional housing for people who were displaced due to various situations such as natural disasters, abuse and violence she tells The Huffington Post.

At 11,Arzu-Embry graduated from high school and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree. She was only able to complete her classes online as she was always on the move for different church events and leadership conferences. Now armed with her master’s, Thessalonika hopes to help businesses learn how to prepare for changing trends and developments.

Arzu-Embry graduated from Thomas Edison College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2013, before proceeding to Regent University, where she enrolled in a hybrid program combining online studies and traditional, on-campus coursework.

Again, she couldn’t earn a degree in a traditional college setting, because of her frequent travels.. Instead, she had weekly video-based sessions with instructors and other students.

Even then, the whizz princess has no regrets whatsoever. She didn’t mind not being able to spend time with her friends. For her, that’s only a child’s play which she admits to have enjoyed earlier, as she loved socializing with other students when she was younger.

I don’t regret missing those things because I did all of those things in undergraduate school,” she said.”I was interested in studying, and so my mom used college textbooks, recalled Arzu-Embry, who lives with her family in Great Lakes Naval Station housing.

Now you’d agree that age is never a barrier to achieving greatness in life.

With a master’s degree, Arzu-Embry’s goal is  to learn how to help businesses do what they do. More importantly, she wants to help businesses prepare for trends, demographic shifts, changing government regulations and other forces that can affect their operations.

I’m interested in business, she explains. That’s a very dynamic profession

She is also very passionate about the aviation industry because of her father, Carlos Arzu, a military veteran and a private pilot, who works as a manager at O’Hare International Airport.

I grew up around airplanes, Arzu-Embry said. We took flights all the time.

She hopes that her exposure in the aviation industry will give her the knowledge to work for aviation companies and reduce what she calls “human factor errors,” the types of problems that can cause plane crashes.

The young amazon is also a devoted youth leader at the Living Word Christian Center.
