What are some of the major challenges you have encountered in obtaining interviews with African Entrepreneurs and how did you overcome them?

Since our interviews are conducted across continents, the time difference is a major hurdle. Also, many of the entrepreneurs we interview are on the go, so reaching them has proven very difficult. We overcome them by adapting, we change our tools, equipment and modes of operations as need be.

What do you enjoy most about running GetInspiredAfrica.Com? What is your inspiration? What keeps you going?

Hearing and sharing the stories of people who have overcome hurdles and challenges and built successful businesses is enjoyable and inspirational. Connecting these stories to aspiring entrepreneurs is uplifting. The feedback we receive from people around the world about our concept is what keeps us going.

Any mentors?

I read a lot of biographies and autobiographies. Learning from people who have pushed the boundaries and made great out of their lives is great motivator.

For you, Life is….

For me life is what you make it. It sounds cliché but I believe every word of it. You take charge of your life, makes changes to aspects of it you don’t like, going out and working hard to get what you want. Life is practice, what you keep practicing is what you will know and become.

Africa will rise when…..

… our human resources are developed and there is effective accountability.
