Poem – Hands

hands Poem - HandsSoft and tender
They were
Beautifully manicured
As always.

Pillars in the storm
Swift to answer
They told of
Beauty deep within

Hurt and healing
They had felt
Wrinkled and old
Was the dress

Warm with love
Open in forgiveness
They showed me
A world of possibilities.
