The premier edition of “Nigeria’s Got Talent” debuted on the 17th of September 2012. The show is hosted by Andre Blaze with judges; radio host Dan Foster, Nollywood star Kate Henshaw and filmmaker Yibo Koko.
It airs on Sundays on Silverbird TV (6pm), TVC (9pm), AIT (10: 30 pm), Soundcity (DSTV, 6:30pm) and for viewers in the United Kingdom, HITV (8pm). Anyone who has a talent to display, singers, magicians, comedians, dancers, inventors and actors are allowed to try out and impress the judges and audience who will be voting via SMS. Sounds like so much fun! Obviously patterned after the “America’s got talent” show, we hope it will be more exciting, entertaining and educative.
I forgot to add, the prize money is a whopping N10,000,000!!!
