“Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the Plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine”.(1 Samuel 10 vs 3). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.
It is important to note that the three men who met Saul in our Focal Scripture were on their way to worship God in Bethel. These were had all submitted to God; these were men who were operating under God’s Control. The men were moving towards God. On the other hand,Saul was also making movements in line with the words that God had spoken to him through Prophet Samuel. Saul was operating under God’s word.
Notice that when the men met Saul, they saluted him and gave him two loaves of bread. Saul walked in the atmosphere of God’s Word over his life, and soon, men who were under God’s control began to favour him and show him kindness. Saul operated under the Word, and in a matter of time, people who were controlled by God played a role in a crucial moment in his destiny.
Today, hear God’s Instruction to you: As you operate under the cover of the Word, people who are under God’s control will begin to favour you. As you submit to God’s Word concerning your life, it will attract men who will play a role in taking you higher. As you make the word of God your compass in life, people who are under God’s control will become channels for your blessings.
Psalms 24 vs 1 affirms that God owns the world and them that dwell therein. So, it doesn’t matter whose help you need on earth, all you need is to walk by God’s Word and the persons you need will show up in due course!
God’s Word is your Connection to the Men on Assignment in your life!
