Then shalt thou go on forward from thence ,and thou shalt come to the Plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God in Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine”. (1 Samuel 10 vs 3). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.
Today’s Focal Scripture unveils yet another phase in the events that preceded Saul’s enthronement as King. Prophet Samuel disclosed to Saul that when he arrives at the Plain of Tabor, he would be met by three men. These men were on the way to Bethel, the place of Sacrifice. They were meant to give Saul two loaves of bread. So, they had a role to play in Saul’s life as he marched into Royalty. They had an assignment in Saul’s life.
Notice that this was not a case of Saul going to look for the men; it was a case of the men meeting Saul. Saul didn’t need to look for them; they just met him. He didn’t need to run after them, he didn’t waste time trying to figure out how to make contact with them; all he did was to arrive at Tabor, and they met him and gave him what God wanted him to get from them.
Today, hear God’s Promise to You: the men that have assignments in your life will be waiting for you at every stage you need them. You won’t need to search endlessly for them. They will meet you in circumstances that will blow your mind. You may have made futile attempts to reach out to the men you need; in this season, God will make them reach out to you. You may have looked for them endlessly, but right now, God will make them look for you!
Focus on God and he will bring the men you need!
Pray with me, “Lord, may the men who have assignments in my life come to me sweatlessly in Jesus name”.
Have a Productive day and a most Rewarding Week!
