Always Complete The Process.
“When these confirming signs are accomplished, You’ll know that You’re ready; Whatever job you’re given to do, do it. God is with you.” (1 Samuel 10 vs 7 MSG). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.
As we draw the curtain on our Two-month meditation on Saul and Kingship, one thing is worth considering: God took Saul through different stages before his Kingship was announced. He was anointed by Samuel, and instructed to meet two men at Rachel’s sepulchre, then meet three men at the Plain of Tabor who would give him two loaves of bread, and then visit the garrison of the Philistines etc. God reeled out a series of stages. God announced what looked like a long process.
Notice that in Today’s Focal Scripture, Samuel said: “When these confirming signs are accomplished, You’ll know that you are ready”. Put differently, Samuel said,
“When you do everything you have been asked to do, you’ll be ready”. He didn’t ask for partial fulfilment. Saul wasn’t expected to skip any phase in the experiences that were meant to prepare him for Kingship. The experiences he was going through were building blocks for his Kingship and God demanded 100% compliance.
Today, glean a lesson from Saul’s life: God demands 100% compliance from you in every process He is taking you through. He needs you to learn every lesson He brings your way. He needs you to imbibe every virtue he has been instructing you on for the higher grounds you wish to attain.
Don’t join the company of those who have attained higher grounds without going through some processes. For every castle you may have built in the air, please find a foundation for it now before its too late. Don’t be counted among those who skipped classes in destiny and found themselves at the top. What you didn’t learn now, can actually make a mess of your height in life and ultimately pull you down!
Pray with me, “Lord, I choose to learn every lesson I need for Greatness”.
Enjoy a Friday full of Laughter!
