Chioma Ifeanyi-Eze Shares Three Simple Strategies That Can Skyrocket Your Sales This Year

Chioma Ifeanyi-Eze, the founder of Accounting Hub – a fast growing Accounting Services Firm in the City of Lagos recently shared on her Facebook profile, three (3) simple strategies that will help your sales.

These simple strategies are:-

  1. Selling in bulk
  2. Selling in bundles, and
  3. Selling in seasons

In the post, she shed some good light on each of the strategies. Read on:-

1. Sell in bulk:

Few days ago, I taught on my near-zero-cost marketing strategies. Selling in bulk was one of the methods I shared. It is simply a method where you carefully think through possible channels to help you sell either multiples to one buyer or sell to many buyers, using one effort.

A doctor in Abuja offers 5 IVF attempts for 4 million naira, instead of 1.5 million naira for one attempt. This is an exciting offer to couples who are seeking to have babies. This is an amazing sell-in-bulk strategy to one buyer, buying multiples.

I recall my days in banking, some trending fashion store offered us 6 suits for 30,000 Naira or 1 suit for 7,000 Naira. My friend Lilian and I would contribute 15,000 Naira each and go grab 3 suits each. When you arrive the shop, you will see loads of bankers and corporate ladies, buying in the same pattern.

That business made a massive hit, in those days. This is another example.

My friend lives in an estate around Chevron, Lekki, Lagos. A children play park launched around the estate. They sent a proposal to the estate, if you can get 50 families in your estate to register with us, we will give you annual fees of say 80,000 Naira, instead of the regular fee of 150,000 Naira.

It was such a beautiful offer that most residents grabbed it. Residents even sold the offer to their friends who are non-residents. This is a wow example of selling in bulk.

2. Sell-in-bundles:

Take some of your products or services and make them into a beautiful bundle with an attractive price. You can even take products or services which you do not sell, yourself.

Haven’t you noticed how Jumia will sell: Laptop+Ms office + antivirus+ mouse for a fee. That’s an exciting bundle.

If a customer thinks through the stress of buying these things one-by-one, at different places, they will just grab your bundle.

You make beads, the beads are not selling. Have you gone to Yaba to sew some sweet-plain-coloured trending peplum tops and bundle it with the beads. Take some hot Instagram photos and say: Top plus matching beads is 6k. Come and see rushing.

Oga photographer, you are sitting and waiting for me to come to your studio and snap picture? Create a bundle : The birthday photo shoot splash. The bundle will cover free makeup, 3 dress changes and 30 minutes of shoot for 30,000 Naira (or whatever price). The bundle takes place at client location. This means a man can buy it for his wife and you go to her office on her birthday, make her up and do a shoot for her. Bros, you go sell taya.

3. Sell in seasons:

Understand the time and season, find a matching product or service and scream it loud (that is, market it seriously).

This is January, people have to pay school fees, if you run a loan business, create a sharp product called School fees loan, design eflyers and start marketing it.

Next month is valentine, have you started planning your sales? Even if you run a salon, go and print valentine vouchers, I can buy a pedicure voucher for a friend.

Recognize seasons, plan ahead of the season, position well and make some good sales.

Now, in all 3 techniques, you need to think and be creative. There will never be anything you are taught in business that allows you throw your brain away and just sleep. You must work. So, grab your jotter now and start thinking and writing.

As always, I love you and I desire that your business prospers.

Which of these strategies will be applying in your business right away?

Share with me in the comments.
