14th October- All roads led to the Konnect Africa Hub in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Friends, staff and investors thronged to the venue to witness the official launching of the one of a kind website exclusively designed to celebrate and inspire Africans.
The ball was set rolling with the red carpet session which lasted over 30 minutes. The MC and comedian, Marcus of Vivamark Media, kept the audience thrilled with anecdotes and jokes. The Publisher gave a brief history of the dream behind “Konnect Africa” and the part it is set to play in revolutionising Africa for Africans.
Deacon and renowned lawyer, Henry Wogu gave a speech on the power of inspiration as he urged all present to play their part in building the Konnect Africa network. He went on to dedicate the website which was projected for the viewing pleasure of those present.
The beautiful Konnect Africa cake by Best Bite was presented and cut by the staff of Konnect Africa, with support from friends and family.
Those present then took out time to intermingle and network; and dare we say that there was some ‘konnecting’ involved.
Finger foods, fruits and drinks from Neo’s kitchen flowed at the African themed launch cocktail. The event was partnered by Metamorph Publications and Newbreed Edutainment. It was a beautiful beginning to an inspiring journey.
