Juliet Anammah sits at the helm of Africa’s leading shopping platform, Jumia Nigeria as the Chief Executive Officer. A B.Pharm holder from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Juliet boasts over 24 years of professional work experience with six years at senior executive level.
Prior to her becoming Jumia Nigeria CEO, Juliet was a Partner at Accenture, where she focused on the digital consumer and route to market for consumer goods companies, and the Managing Director of the firm’s Consumer Goods Practice in Nigeria.
As jumia’s new CEO, Juliet takes over from former Co-CEOs Jeremy Doutte and Nicolas Martin, who are now in charge of Jumia’s operations in the whole of Africa. Jumia is a fast growing online store in Africa and operates in 11 countries in the continent.
Dedicated and fearlessly ambitious, the leading lady strives to relentlessly focus on building the Jumia brand, making it the one-stop shopping destination in Nigeria by offering convenience and the widest assortment of quality products at affordable prices.
Juliet is also passionate about women advancement, empowerment and the growth of the continent, which explains why she serves actively on the board of many non-profit organizations involved in women development and trade expansion.
For Jumia, Juliet’s appointment marks a new beginning of greatness and unparalleled achievements as the new CEO hopes to dwell on two key themes in steering the affairs of the company- the customer and the partnership of Jumia with its brands and its vendors.

Juliet Anammah holds a MBA in Finance from Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT) Business School in Lagos, is a member of the Governing Board of The Corona Schools and is a fellow, High Impact Leadership for a Better Society, Nigeria Leadership Initiative and Yale University.
