“They continued their climb and entered the city. And then there he was – Samuel! – Coming straight toward them…”(1 Samuel 9 vs 14 MSG). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.
In Today’s Focal Scripture, the Journey of Saul took an interesting twist: Saul got into the city, and there was Samuel coming towards him and his servant. This was the same man they had sought after from city to city, but as they entered the city of Zuph, he started coming towards them. What they had sought after repeatedly suddenly began to come towards them.
It is frustrating to search for a thing that continues to elude one. Sometimes, we search for jobs, life partners, good businesses, destiny helpers, trusted friends but somehow they seem not easy to find.
Today, hear God’s Word of Grace to you: Everything you’ve been searching for will begin now to come towards you! Everything that has eluded you in the past will begin to locate you now. Every desire you nursed that seemed beyond your reach will begin now to come within your reach. God is turning the tables in your favour. You may have taken your turn to search, right now, its your turn to be sought after.
The Psalmist in Psalms 23 vs 6 sheds amazing light on this when he said, “Goodness and Mercy shall follow me…”. Which means Goodness and Mercy are chasing right after me. Goodness and Mercy are looking for me! Wooooow! He didn’t say, “I will follow Goodness and Mercy”. Friend, get ready, what you are looking for desperately is about to look for you.
Don’t Give Up! Keep believing! Keep Speaking the Word! The tables are about to turn! Greatness is about to locate you. Its your turn to be sought after!
