I Know a Nigerian Star: The Top 5

First there were one hundred and sixty-six [166], then there were thirty [30], then there were ten [10]

It was indeed a tough call for our indefatigable judges even though they had a great time reading and drawing inspiration from the loads of amazing entries.

Now, it is time to READ and START VOTING for the Winners. You have in your hands the power to determine who walks away with our Star Prize, so it is time for you to VOTE.

In no particular order, please find below the links to the top 5 entries as selected by our distinguished panel of Judges:

1) Oluwafunto Koya is a 400 Level student of Economics department at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She has great human relations skills as she has been awarded the most charismatic person in her class right from her 100 level. She has handled the finances and statement of accounts of students in her departmental society, comprising of an average of 700 students, for the Leadership Qualities and Entrepreneurial Development (LQED) conference. Funto is presently the chairperson, the only female ever, for the same LQED conference. You can read her story here>>>

2) Uzor Michael C. is a young writer and an undergraduate of FUTO where he’s presently studying Electrical Electronic Engineering. He is 21 years of age. He is also a blogger and social entrepreneur.

3) Somtochukwu Metu is a native of Umuchu in Anambra State. She is a postgraduate student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Don’t go anywhere until you have read her story here  >>>

4) Born Onyidoh, Henry Ikemefuna (in recognition of Achebe’s character in his globally acknowledged novel; Things Fall Apart) is a Biologist by training and banker by chance. Writing, reading, playing scrabble, driving and learning new words are some of the best things of interests he does at his leisure hours. Writing a bestseller is an icing atop  his dreams.
