“Tomorrow about this time, I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be Captain over my people, that he may save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me. “( 1 Samuel 9 vs 16). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.
A Careful look at today’s Focal Scripture would reveal something noteworthy: Saul was searching for Samuel on account of his father’s lost asses, but God was looking for him in order to make him King. He had a mission and a request he was about to make from God through the Prophet, but there was something bigger that God had in store for him. What he was looking wasn’t just all that God wanted to give him. What he got from God was greater than what he wanted from God. God overwhelmingly exceeded Saul’s expectations.
Friend, hear God’s Word to you: You are about to receive more than what you have asked of God. You are about to receive miracles that are bigger than your expectations. The answers to your prayers will turn out bigger than you ever expected. God’s response to you will turn out bigger than you ever imagined!
In this Season, get ready to receive more than you ever asked for. Get ready for opportunities beyond your wildest imaginations. Get ready for Divine Intervention that is beyond the scope of your request. Get ready for something bigger and better!
Ephesians 3 vs 20 affirms this in glowing light, it says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the Power that worketh in us”.
Get Ready Friends, God is set to exceed our expectations!
