“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the King, behold, there came wise men from the East to Jerusalem. “(Matthew 2 vs 1). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.
Today’s Focal Scripture indicates that Jesus was born in Bethlehem of judaea (Judah), during the reign of Herod the wicked King. He was born in the midst of adversity. It was indeed a reign of terror but his birth still took place in the territory of Judah. The Word JUDAH simply means PRAISE. That means Jesus was born in Praise.
So, while the reign of terror lasted,Jesus’ parents chose to live in the territory of ‘Praise’. While adversity persisted,Jesus’ parents chose to dwell within the circumference of Praise. While it seemed that all was not well in Israel, Jesus’ parents chose to live in the atmosphere of Praise. While it seemed that there was danger and trepidation, Jesus’ parents lived in Praise.
Today, hear God’s Counsel: Don’t let adversity steal your Praise! Get your praise groove on even when it seems that all is not well. Great things are birthed in Praise.
As the year gradually ends, don’t set your heart on unfulfilled expectations; look deeper within you, you will find great reasons to praise God!
Today, drive the devil mad by praising God! Announce God’s greatness to your challenges through praise. As you drive, walk on the way; just continue to Praise. Jesus’ parents lived in Bethlehem Judah. They stayed and dwelt in Praise. Stay on your Praise. Don’t make your praise occasional. You will birth great things in Jesus’ name!
Pray with me, “Lord, I will continue to praise,no circumstance can steal my Praise”.
Its going to be an Awesome Thursday today…
