There’s almost no phone user in Nigeria in the last decade that didn’t use a Nokia phone. Three years ago, Forbes deemed the Nokia brand worth $27.3b, ninth highest in the world. Today there’s a fall, as it is worth a mere $7b, which ranks No. 71. The value is down 55% from last year as the brand, like Blackberry, it may be left behind in the Smartphone world.
