Asleep In My Arms

As you lay your head to rest,
I offer you the comfort of my chest,
Nothing else is sweet and best,
But my arms round you as a nest.

I’ll rock you gently,
As your eyes close easily,
Sending you to sleep slowly.
Watching you sleep is so lovely.
