“…when thou art come thither to the city, then thou shalt meet a company of Prophets coming down from the High Place with a Psaltery, and a Tabret, and a pipe, and a Harp before them; and they shall prophesy. And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and thou shalt be turned into another man. “(1 Samuel 10 vs 5-6). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.
Today’s scripture sheds light on Saul’s benefit while prophesying with the company of Prophets. Samuel said, “thou shall prophesy with them, and shall be turned into another man”. Prophecy (Speaking the mind of God) was meant to make Saul become “another man”. Prophecy was first going to change Saul before manifesting him. Prophecy was going to transform Saul to fit into that mould that will serve a destiny Purpose.
Saul’s prophecy was the link between his present and his future. Prophecy was the catalyst that was meant to precipitate the new phase of Royalty. He may have been known as one who went after his father’s asses, but this time, Prophecy was about to unveil the King in him.
Friend, hear God’s Word to you: Every Word of God you declare would first change you. Then the changed man you have become then attracts Divine attention. The more you speak God’s Word, the more your fears are being dispelled, your worries get knocked out, your faith built- you are indeed changing.
There is ‘Another Man’ living in your prophecy. There is something about you that people are yet to see, and it will manifest as you continue to speak God’s Word into your life.
Remember, what you say changes you before it changes your circumstance. Keep declaring God’s mind over your life, family, finances, health etc- YOU WILL BECOME ANOTHER MAN – A HUGE WONDER IN YOUR GENERATION!
