“And as they went up the hill to the city, they found young maidens going out to draw water, and said unto them, Is the Seer here? And they answered them, and said, He is; behold, he is before you: make haste now, for he came today to the city…”(1 Samuel 9 vs 11-12). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today.
Notice that as Saul pursued his Purpose, it was only a matter of time before he met some young maidens who were going to fetch water. He had a mission, and naturally, he stumbled into people who equally had a mission. He had a Focus and a target, and he eventually met people who also had a focus and a target. Saul’s Purpose was clearly defined, and naturally, he ended up meeting people with clearly defined purposes.
Friend, glean a lesson from Saul’s story: When you walk in purpose, you will naturally connect with people of Purpose. When you discover and pursue your purpose, it is only natural that purposeful people will be attracted to you. When you become a king at what you do, you will naturally find a place among the kings of this world.
